I will ask him, but I think he will prefer it that way. He likes when something is on the edge of being too much. And...so do I.

[He briefly gives Zevran the up-down before looking away bashfully.]

He also liked seeing us kiss.

[ A chain of command, if he would. Nathaniel is more than welcome to note he does not offer himself as a subordinate. ]

Mmmhmm. Men are terribly visual creatures- what they see entrances and enthralls.

I suppose I would have the final say in any disagreement, but you are free to command him. [Nathaniel composes himself a little, the blush going down, his expression evening.] He wants that.

And you want...? [ A rare moment of true seriousness. ] I have been here before, Nathaniel. Only about half of the time does it end well. The more frank you are now, the less question when we are in the heat of things.

[Nathaniel knows exactly what Zevran is talking about. The jealousy. But jealousy isn't some insurmountable force, or even that big a deal. Moreover:]

[ Zevran quirks a brow at Nathaniel- he has never heard of anything quite like that where it was all even and healthy and kind and good- and that is with elves and humans in the mix. Throw in two humans and-

[Nathaniel breaks into a grin, a wheezing laugh coming out before he coughs and forces himself into stoicism.] Of course. That would do it.
