Well when Zevran says it outright, it just sounds weird. Still, Cade is in a snit and, here with one of the few people who ever listens to him, he doesn't feel like coming out of it yet. Of course, his mental image is more along the lines of Alistair apologizing profusely and promising to stop being such a total piece of shit, but there may or may not be a shade of wanting someone else to be degraded for once.
